DISSOLVABLE FRAC PLUG SUCCESSFULLY SET AND HOLDS PRESSURE IN VERTICAL SECTION OF TWO WELLS. ANADARKO BASIN, CANADIAN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, USA

OPERATIONS

Frac plugs were umped downhole, and set in the vertical section of each well. After setting, the ball was dropped. The ball took under 5 minutes to seat. Pressure was increased to 1,500 psi and held for ~150 minutes with no increase in water used or pressure drop. This verifies that the plug both held position without slipping and effectively isolated the zone. Pressure was incrementally increased to 9,000 psi and held for ~30 minutes. When pressure reached 7,250 psi, total barrels pumped plateaued and did not increase, verifying that the plug effectively held pressure and maintained position.

After the test, the plug was easily milled out
